हर्फ़ ए ताज़ा नई ख़ुशबू में लिखा चाहता है

हम ने ही लौटने का इरादा नहीं किया

चलने का हौसला नहीं रुकना मुहाल कर दिया

कू ब कू फैल गई बात शनासाई की

कुछ तो हवा भी सर्द थी कुछ था तेरा ख़याल भी

फ़लसफ़े इश्क़ में पेश आए सवालों की तरह

ज़िंदगी तुझ को जिया है कोई अफ़्सोस नहीं

अहल ए उल्फ़त के हवालों पे हँसी आती है

पत्थर के ख़ुदा पत्थर के सनम पत्थर के ही इंसाँ पाए हैं

शायद मैं ज़िंदगी की सहर ले के आ गया

किसी रंजिश को हवा दो कि मैं ज़िंदा हूँ अभी
